APHA Male hockey programs at the U11-18 fall under two categories:

• Winnipeg West League:
  • U11 
• Direct Entry:
  • U13 
  • U15 
  • U18 

All APHA male teams are the APHA Winter Hawks

Age Group Specifics

U9A

*     Teams will be formed in the A1 level only

U11 

• Teams will be formed in the A1, A2 and A3 levels

U13 

• Players can choose to try out for AA APHA Rangers
• Teams will be formed in the A1, A2 and A3 levels

U15 

• Players can choose to try out for AA APHA Rangers  
• Note there is Body checking at the A1 and AA levels                   No body checking at the A2 and A3 levels
• Teams will be formed in the A1, A2 and A3 levels

U18 

• Players can choose to try out for AA APHA Rangers
• Note there is Body checking at the A1 and AA levels                   No body checking at the A2 and A3 level
• Teams will be formed in the A1 and A2 levels
